kevinKevin is a third-year Biology and Chemistry double major at Wichita State University. It is his mission to contribute to a growing diverse scientific community during his time in college. His previous research experience has involved characterizing the acting-binding protein palladium and a hamster cheek pouch xenotransplantation model. He has presented posters at the ACS 2021 Midwest Regional Meeting, the 21st Annual K-INBRE Symposium, and plans to present at the 2023 Kansas MAA Section Meeting and 2023 Central Region IDeA Conference.

This summer, Kevin will be working with Dr. Konstantin Kornev, producing magnetic micro and nanorods using electroplating methods and using these probes to fabricate artificial antennae. Some basic knowledge of Matlab and Labview will be the plus.
